I just bought a delightful little TNV.
It's an unfinished project, post a 2 decade stay in dry storage. I'm going to finish of the mechanical side, road-worthy and rego, then attack the body.
Anyone who has/knows of TN360 parts (or knowledge) please get in touch.

Very rare in the van version. Years ago I had a couple of utes. Great to see yours preserved.

Yes, I was rapt to score a van. The utes look pretty damn cool as well though.
Don't s'pose you ever figured out which n360/n600 parts can be used on the TN range when you had your utes?

Unfortunately no. One was already basically restored and the second was for parts. Kept them for several years but did nothing further with them so onsold them to a Honda enthusiast.

The engine I was told is similar to the 305cc motorbike engine? Could be wrong, 10 years ago now.

Yep, engine was based on the CB450 motorbike engine.
I was hoping that the N600, N360 and TN360 engine/drivetrain etc would all be much of a muchness. Truthfully, I bet if I start comparing part numbers one-by-one Ill find some interchangeable parts, but at a glance the TN engine is really out there in terms of weirdness. It's actually a horizontally opposed air cooled two, rather than the straight slant 2 of the n360/600.

Updates:
Got a set of Falken 807 R10 tyres fitted. (Quite hard to find a 10 inch tyre these days.)
Have ordered NOS driveshafts and some bushes from the Netherlands.
Bought inner/outer wheel bearings on eBay.
Having brake hoses rebuilt.
Attempting to sort a windscreen and have the shocks rebuilt.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your tyres from? Needs a set of 10" boots m'self! I have a supplier of Falken R2's bookmarked, same same?

1971 N360 - restoration project

I got the tyres from the Tyrepower in Port Melbourne (I'm Melbourne based now, Sydney originally).
When I asked for 10 inch tyres they looked at me like I was drunk, but I told them I had it on good authority that Falken were still making the 807's. A phone call later and the wheels were in the post. They came crushed flat, and wouldn't seat on the rim. The guys left them for a day with an inflated tube inside them to push the sidewalls apart some, and they finally seated on the rim after another couple of hours of stuffing about.
Anyway, the truck is no longer really welcome at Tyrepower.

I also found some 10 inch tyres on the internet being sold by Mini specialists, like:

NOS driveshafts just turned up from the Netherlands.
Although they are available, I balked at ordering NOS shocks from the same supplier due to the cost.
Has anyone had micro/custom shocks manufactured/rebuilt etc?
I have a feeling that I could get something made from scratch/my shocks remanufactured for somewhat less than NOS prices.
I have asked around, and apparently there isn't a single 'off the shelf' shock available from Pedders that as tiny as the TN360 shock. As such, modifying a Mini/Suzuki Carry etc shock would be a wasted exercise... unless someone would like to prove me wrong
