You'll have to pardon the links as I haven't been able to resize my pictures down small enough to fit into this forum, I'm building a 1986 Accord hatchback full custom, I've owned the car for over 14 years, at one point it was a track car, i bought it without the track stuff, restored it to a factory car, and now am building a custom out of it. I took it of the road three years ago, I was having a time with the awful keihin carburetor, I ended up building a manifold and am running a set of SU's from a 510 sss , I'm almost done mocking stuff up, pretty much everything is fitted in , then it all has to come apart for paint, carb rebuilding etc, I work as a machinist so I build almost everything from scratch, there isn't much available anyway for these cars, just in the engine, other then the internals I've done, I'm running those SU carbs, S&S header, I built the entire exhaust from scratch, all stainless 2 inch, everything is mandrel bent, I even built my own stainless muffler, I do all the fabricating, I have friends who are kick ass welders who help on the welds, running full MSD ignition with a rev limiter, delta stage 2 cam, modified fuel pickup with facet pump under the car, Holley low pressure regulator, NDM oil cooler with forced air blower, Derale oil thermostat, remote oil filter, all lines are aeroquip stuff, there is a ton of other stuff done to the engine such as the modified prelude valve cover, the oil separator on the PCV setup, battery is a remote mounted Odyssey, I'm running a 98 civic alternator relocated to where the AC compressor was, power steering filter under the bumper corner, the reservoir is made from a WW2 canteen, it's a start of the list anyway. There is no telling how many hours I've got in this thing, the interior is another complete story but I will get to that later. you'll have to pardon the underhood paint and some things being disconnected, it's still partly in the mockup stage
