I was hoping for a more realistic casting (as the owner of an '86 CRX). I am sure I will buy one, but I won't be buying more to customize to match my car.

It looks like they took inspiration from the Mugen body kit, which is cool. The odd proportions of Hot Wheels used to bother me, but they've grown on me as I've gotten older. It seems like Mattel is content to squish and squeeze the castings in order to make a cooler toy, which is fun in its own right. I guess if you want 100% scale accuracy, go for a Tomica! I think they have a nice Ballade Sports in their super-detailed "Tomica Vintage" lineup. :tu:
