Very cool collection with lots of history. Did the owner say if the cars were brought in from Japan/Canada? The honda dream reminds me of one I owned a while back.

Thanks for sharing. :tu:

Glad you all enjoyed the photos.

The cars are not imported from Japan or Canada. These cars were bought from U.S. owners to the best of my knowledge.

I know, but I dont think these cars came with MPH speedo in Canada.
Its a LHD car so its either a Canadian or European car.

Canadian S-cars had mph speedometers; I have one that I know is original.

That's a nice looking S800 coupe. The lighting suggests that it's an S800M, which was made specifically for the US market. Though never sold there officially, some got imported. The Honda Twin Cam Register decal indicates the car was being used in the US in the 1970's. The speedometer is metric but the temperature gauge is in Fahrenheit. One of these has been changed; a European car would have had them both metric. The steering wheel is not original either. The S800 had a plastic wheel; this wooden one comes from an S600. My guess would be for a North American car with a swapped-out speedometer.

Was thrilled to find my old S800 on your site. As for a bit of history on the car. I purchased it from a gentleman and then president of the twin cam registry in the mid 1970's. He was located in Redondo Beach California. He stated then that the car was brought into the states from Europe by a returning military member. I drove and did a small amount of auto crossing with it in Santa Rosa. Had her repainted with the stripes in Petaluma in about 1978. I sold the car to the present owners in 1983 to get into the tool business. The car drove and ran great at that time.
