This is my first old Civic (I had '90 Civic and now have '94 Civic) . I bought it 2 weeks ago. Car costs me ~180$. The car is in quite good condition. Of course there is some rust on body and ,I think, enough rust underneath. Engine works not bad, has some problems with compression and engine oil leak. But I hope I can everything improve.
How I find out, this is '85 Civic ew2, 1.5l 12v carb (1477 cm3, 63kW), with manual gearbox.
Because I have this car only for 2 weeks, so plans are only on paper - I want to start body restauration process next spring, technical part I think to start fix this winter. It depends on how much time I have and how my financial situation will be.

Sad, but restoration process went totally bad. When interior was removed, the true situation shown up (I hoped that situation would be a bit better):






After this view, I spent few days thinking what to do, consulted with some people from Lithuanian Civic club, friends and my "bank account". And I made decision to sell her to scrap yard. This decision was hard to me.

So, Rest In Peace my dear little '85 Civic

Too bad. For that price you could have driven it until it broke in two. But I am in the USA and dont know your vehicle inspection laws...

I could drive her more then 1 year, because she had valid tech. inspection. Maybe not year, but at least this summer. But because she was dismantle, I didn't want to assemble her back and drive with mind in my head, that I won't save and repair this car, but only break her till the last breathing of carb. So decided to end story immediately.
I left with my other Civic ('94), which I have for more then 4 years. And after while I bought '88 Accord
