As HondaWizard notes, a Civic 1200 has been mounted in an N600 as a transverse FWD. I have photos of the install, but they are not super informative. And, there is really not much to recommend this swap, except for the Honda -> Honda aspect.
Myself, I like modern EFI engines, aluminum blocks and the ability to go in reverse at a decent price, which led me to the Geo Metro engine. I've done a number of study models that show fitment is pretty good -- a little wheel well clearancing and maybe moving the rack.




Measuring and modeling is all I've done at this point, as I've been mostly focused on other projects, but I think this is probably the route I will go once the stock drivetrain gives up the ghost.
