New '78 Accord Engine from Honda - SCORE - need parts help

Just scored this brand new Honda 78 Accord EF1 engine. When I say brand-new, I mean "at a Honda dealer in the crate, brand new". Installing into 78 Civic. Need help for manifold, carb, turbo set-up. Any other parts help greatly appreciated

Wow awesome score! There was a brand new EK1 80-81 factory Honda Accord "crate" motor still in the factory box\crate on ebay a while back similar to yours, the seller was asking quite a bit for it from what i remember. A couple years ago i found a guy selling a cvcc powered saindrail with a bunch of extra parts that were going with it including a zero miles longblock similar to yours (though remanufactured). He was willing to sell his "extra parts" to me since he wasnt getting much interest in his buggy. When i got there he had alot of parts including a custom turbo kit for the cvcc engine only bad thing was it was missing one part, the exhaust mani for the turbo. I know turbo parts are hard to find for the cvcc engine it might be easier to fab your own "one off" system? Goodluck with your search though i would love to see forced induction on one of these old honda motors. :tu:
