Hey guys!
Found this awesome nostalgic forum just now and felt that i had to join you guys! :P

Well to introduce me then:
My name is Joakim Lindgren, i´m 25 years old and live in Sweeeden.
I´ve always had a thing for old 70´s and 80´s japanese cars, and has had a few of my own.
I´ve owned five different Toyota Starlet´s from the 79-83 models, one of which i used to compete in gravel rallys with, which was alot of fun! :D.

But they´re all gone now, nowadays i only drive my two extremely rare 1983 mitsu Colt 1,4L Turbos.
One of them is in near mint condition with improved traction and a slightly tuned engine that puts out around 140bhp and with only 920kg of weight i can promise you that it goes like a greased turd! (hmm not shore that my saying is correct there, excuse my bad english skills.)

Dan: Yes it is! :D It was on when i bought the car, i didn´t bother to take it off.

Tjenare Håkan, kul att se att det finns fler svenskar här! 8)

Don´t you worry, i won´t put to much stress on these colt´s, it´s far to difficult to find parts for them if something brakes, so i intend to keep them in perfect condition. :)
The one on the picture is due for a complete engine rebuild due to a really sloppy rebuild by the previous owner which resulted in a shattered piston, so i will probably use more originalparts to keep the engine running a bit longer this time. :)

Welcome! It's nice to see another rallyist on the board. I am a avid rally fan and also used to do the US version of rallycross and will someday get back into it (as soon as I get my car back to road worthy shape lol).

Oh, cool, do you have any pictures from when you were racing?
Well, i quess that you follow Ken Block´s new career pretty intensely then? :D Great to see an american in the wrc, it needs more nationality's in the sport!
Found some more pictures of my KP61 from my first run since i bought it back in 2005! aaah nice memories come back to me now 8)
