Hi, I am an Irish import living in Northern California. My husband and I met due to a mutual love of cars. Our first car that we bought together back in 2001 was a 1985 Nissan Silva. We then lived in Northern Ireland - "Twin Cam" (AE86) heaven & true to form my husband wanted to be different & whilst the Corolla's were doing their thing, he was out there locking down the rear end of our Silvia & letting that turbo spool as the car did a wide loop very unlike the 86s lol, but it was fun & we made many friends & have wonderful memories of all of the events & cruises we attended.
After trying out other hobbies over the last few years - dirt bikes, jet skis etc. we find ourselves coming full circle back to the cars. We recently acquired two 1984 Datsun/Nissan 300zxs, one stock, one turbo Hisz & Herz. They were at the Zonc show recently in Brisbane and featured in the blog. We are trying to find a group of enthusiasts and get into the show/cruise circuit again - it's been a long time.
