Hi everyone,
I'm looking to buy a 1979 TE 38 wagon. I'm test driving it on Saturday. I am not planning to do anything racing-fancy with it but I do want to get it looking good (thinking flat black with orange metallic stripes?). But before all that I am curious about how to decode the numbers, I have seen a site with a list but it doesn't seem to match up.

Here's what I have:

Model: TE38LV-HDFA

Frame: TE38-156893

Color/Trim: 030 XU82

Trans/Axle: A40 S292

Plant/GVW: B11

If anyone can help me figure this out I would be very grateful. I am particularly interested in the Trans/Axle number and the Model number.
