Saw this on Craigslist this past Monday. I jumped right on it but with several emails during the week, I didn't hear from the seller until yesterday. Complete 1978 Corona that runs solid with only one fender needing repair but not bad. $395 bucks and drove it 56 miles home. Previous owner signed over the clean title still I think, a little lost on the value he had for all this time. He put a 70's Harley muffler on it which actually sounds pretty good but I'm taking it off soon.
Already ordered OBX Header, 15x8 0 offset wheels and need to keep reading or hope someone points me in the right direction for lowering the front end and possible new rear leaf springs. Even the radio works. I was originally going to buy a 72 Datsun 510 wagon but the price was 2300. This leaves me with a budget to get this thing going. Not a single oil drip in my driveway and it sat there for an hour before I washed it and started claybar/waxing it.
Need rear drivers side taillight cover, one drivers side signal on front fender and the cover of the glovebox door. That's it. Now off to changing the oil and other fluids
