Finally I made it to introduce myself...
So I'm from Southern Finland, Uusimaa and I have always been interested in cars, especially older japanese cars (Toyota, Honda, Mazda).

I have been lurking a while this forum and since I found this site I've been cheking it daily. :)

I have owned 2 cars so far.
My previous car wich was my first car was an white SV21 '88 Toyota Camry GLi Wagon.
I loved it, I was the second owner and it was taken good care and I normally continued to took good care of her and she was never in a bad mood.

It passed more than a year and I started to feel a bit bored with that car.
I had a feeling that I would need a older, smaller, noisier carbed car!

I kept searching for a while and i found a perfect car for my needs.
It was a second gen '83 Honda Civic DX.
The car had been standing in a barn about 10 years and I wanted it so bad.

So I drove over 200km with my friend to pick it up and I had to drive the car back home.
The cars body and engine were in a good condition but the brakes were bad.
The master cylinder and rear brake cylinder was leaking.
So we tried to remove most of the air bubbles from the brake lines and then we blocked the leaking side brake line.

I test drived it and I could find some brakes... after 3 pedal pumps it started to stop!

I paid 500€ and was ready to go home. A bit risky way to home but luckily it was a calm long road and i kept long space between the cars.

I have owned the car for about 3 months now and slowly repairing it.
Last monday i took the car for inspection and had no problems. The inspection man just kept praising the car. :D

Oh yeah now I have just been cruising and yesterday night was a hell of a drive snowing all the time!
There was about 40cm of snow and i got stuck only once in my parking lot and i just laughed to other bigger cars getting stucked at the roads.
I was fine, just kept the right speed and avoided the understeer as much as possible.

I took couple of pics today.
