I just found this forum. Thanks to whoever started it.

I am the original owner of a 1978 Datsun B210GX hatchback.
This has always been a great driver. Unfortunately in a moment of weakness I loaned it to my stepson with the admonition that he brings it to me for repairs and I would cover all expenses. That didn't happen!
The car has now been sitting for nearly 8 years needing a new transmission, power assist for the brakes, carb and other items. I always wanted to restore it to original, but now have no money to do it.
I decided I would have it hauled away for scrap, but thought I would try to find someone who appreciates these cars like I do. Anyone interested send me a post here.
