Hi all,

Just joined JNC. I currently have an 1976 Lancer LA as they are known as here in Australia. I 'm planing to get the cancer removed and respray it in its originl blue as you see here to freshen it up and then reregister it.
I have removed the original 1400 motor and gearbox and dropped a 1600 with twin solex carbies and jap 5 speed box, replaced the original rear shocks with some second hand rally shocks as I plan on doing some motokhanas and khanacross'. Eventually I might put a 4G63 N/A twin cam motor in it.

That is definitely a nice looking lancer!
I bet that engine sounds nice, haha. Although, a 4G63 would be completely awesome too!
Keep us updated on her!
Cheers
David

as far as I'm aware it is a factory sunroof. If it is I don't think there would be many with a factory fitted sunroof.

Looks to me like a "generic sunroof of the era". Sweet cars though, these early Lancers.
