I have a 82 Cressida Wagon, with sealed beam headlights, I got two mini cooper headlights for free (Work at a autobody shop. lots of insurance work) the lights have the HID unit, with the other unit on the back of the bulb. and the projector lens

I was thinking of attempting to eather modifie the sealed beam to fit the projector and the HID bulb. or trying to fabricate a one peace lightI have made lens before with making a mold for the backing and the actual lens. but they were only single light, this i will have a lot more work since it will need adjustment to aim the lights and two bults

Just wondering if you guys have ever done this, or seen any diy article about this topic

if the lights use a fresnel/prism type lens then the light output will probably be all screwed up, i'm gonna fit projectors in my 88 N13 but I have ordered a sheet of clear 5mm thick Lexan to make a clear lens.

just be carefull there is enough ventilation as you don,t need a fire or melt down lol
