So I've recently purchased some old school Mikuni-Solex side draft carbs in the 38mm variety for the 20R in my 76' Pickup and im looking at doing some velocity stacks. But im having a tough time with finding just the right ones. Im looking for a chrome or polished finish, nothing anodized or carbon. Im also having trouble with the sizes they're offered in, there doesn't seem to be a diffinitive 38mm option.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mikuni did not make 38mm solex. They are most likely 40mm. Just get some aluminum 40mm length stacks and call it a day. the longer, the more torque.

Those are emmissions era Mikunis typically on 18RGU engines. I consider them Junk since they dont work as well as the real Mikunis. You cant even get gaskets for those things. The bleed pipe and emulsion tubes are different and you neet to change them out. Good luck. I have 3 pair sitting collecting dust...
