Im planning on buying a new battery for my Corona and got to thinking. Would it be okay if I downsized my battery from 2sm to 1sn (im really not sure how car batteries are sized in other countries but here in the Philippines it would either be 1 for the smallest..)

so make sure na ok pa ang alternator at voltage regulator mo ( if you're using the orignal alt and reg.) before you switch to downsize battery. puede naman mag pa adjust nung regulator ( pero make sure na yun electrician really knows how to adjust it, otherwise baka may masunog dahil sa overcharging ).

Admins: Sorry for posting in Filipino, its kinda hard to resist answering in my native language. Hehe. If anyone wants I can translate our conversations.

Nope not yet, but I already did buy the battery, 1snf/N40. I'll have it installed on my next day off. I'll have the alternator checked when I have the vehicle running on its own power again. Im also looking for a reduction starter and carb for my 12R.

Edit: Do you also happen to post on a local forum here?. at OSP.org?. I think I saw your handle there once.
