I'm looking for more information on these TEQ steering wheel center caps. Did Toyota put these as standard on some cars. If yes, which ones and are there different designs, colorings for the logo?

Does anyone know where I can find one?

I'll just listen into this one, as that would also be ideal for me once I get around to finding a cool steering wheel for my TE61 Trueno...

Finding a steering wheel won't be a problem but the cap is hard to find!

Looks like it might just be a print out.

The junk steering wheels on ebay have horn buttons that are easily taken apart and can put anything in it you want.

Yeah, I found these on Ebay as well. I didn't really like the white part so decided not to buy them :) .

We are thinking about a Nardi wheel as well but the TEQ button is hard to find!!

Well count yourself lucky mate!!!

Anyone even considering buying these, PLEASE DO NOT...!!

I just received mine in the post today, and geeeez... they're f***ing awful!
The plastic is crude and without any gloss at all.
But even worse is the badge!! Clearly made at home on a cheap printer. The white part of the badge is more of a light lilac taint, and the "TEQ" badge isn't even centered properly!! Absolutely horrific!! :td:
Mine simply went straight into the bin!!

Good news!! :D
I've contacted Claccic Capsule in the UK, and they can easily produce the correct red TEQ steering wheel horn button for us.
I'm not quite sure if they just deliver the actual badge or if they do the complete horn button assembly, but I have asked and am now waiting for a reply.
They did say though that they can even produce the badge in any diameter we require.

Anyone up for a group buy??

Okay, so I just received their reply.

They can produce the badge as a sticker for you to then apply to your existing horn button.
The sticker is only 1.5 mm thick and they can produce it in any diameter you might require.
Any interest??

The steering wheel in this photo is MOMO Gritti.

The hole for the horn button is 51 mm for MOMO wheels.

Toyota didnt make トヨタ ( To -yo -ta in katakana writing ) buttons. After market Official Toyota products/ goods are produced by TOSCO , TRD , TOM'S.

Nardi and Personal Brands have 55 mm holes for the horn button.

A friend of my is selling his トヨタ horn button.
This is a used item and it fits Nardi and Personal steering wheels only. Made in Italy by Personal.

Horn button diameter at its base is 54.5mm. Condition 9/10.

Photo below belongs to him. Send me a PM for price.

The absolute best トヨタ badge I have ever run across is one that I see offered once a year, every year at the JCCA New Year's Meet in Japan. The horn button itself is great quality with the logo embossed and with some kind of enamel or something so you can feel all the edges of the logo. Background is red and has a thin silver ring around the red to seal it off. They sell them for upwards of around $100 each and they are worth it. I bought mine a few years ago. They are pricey, but well worth it. Forget all those horn buttons that have a cheap clear plastic bubble with paper inserts. Stuff made out of durable material and enamel is the beez kneez.

I will see if I can dig up a pic. I took it back to America on my last holiday. If I see the couple that sells them again this year, i may just pick up a few for people.

Can't help with sourcing a Toyota horn button I'm afraid, but I thought I'd throw up a pic of the TOM'S horn button I got as a gift from a friend a couple of weeks back.

Bit late to the party, but I found this at a flea market in Lausanne, Switzerland (among a bunch of kitchenware!) for €20 a month or so ago.

It could be a knock-off, but it is a very nice little wheel regardless in terms of feel and quality. The badge straightened up nicely, too. Sold it to a friend for his EP70 Starlet.

EDIT - Turns out its MOMO stamped, a MOMO stamp on the back of the horn itself, too.
