I've seen a few cars lately that have turn signal lights that seem to be really bright orange. I was wondering if you guys know if there is some products to make the amber light look new again. Are they spraying them with a candy to make them look like new or is it the wet sanding and buffing that gets them to look fresh.

I use Meguires PlastX on my and it works great on plastic headlights, tail and marker lights. It should be around $8 at your local auto parts store.

You can also also get it in a kit with micro fiber towel, etc. but I haven't had a need for the full kit.

You can also wet-sand your plastic to get rid of the top layer of oxidization/yellowing/etc. Ive done it on plenty of headlights over the years.

with headlights I'm fine as I have the older style sealed glass headlihts. But I'm more worried about the turn signal and tail lights.

The same process applies. Just lightly wet-sand the top coat off since thats whats dull. then buff them, then re-clear them.
