Has anyone here used Solex locks? I have an 80 Corolla hatchback that I want to change my door and hatch locks on and I can only seem to find universal kits for 3 lock setups.

My main concern is putting one of these locks on my hatch since I am not sure if it's setup is different.

set up would be the same sir, but you do have to use the lock specified for the trunk though. you can't interchange them, since i think they go in one direction only ( for opening,that is )

K. I may have to look at my hatch lock. I have seen generic picks of rear locks and they look nothing like the door locks. The solex kit makes it seem like all locks are the same. Guess I need to look at my lock closer.

I got a Solex kit for a Camry, and installed it on my Corona. There's no going back, however, because the Camry locks are a little bigger and I had to file out the hole a little larger, but the pawls that come with the kit worked for my car (including the trunk release). You might be able to use a newer kit from another model.. or even another make. Just an idea...

Well, after removing my rear lock, the universal kit shoulld work just fine, so going to get that for the locks.
