Just wondering if anyone has close up pictures of how they mounted there chin lip on the TE72. Ive been thinking just zip ties because I rather the ties break before the lip cracks if things get nasty.

Try hex bolts? Coupled with washers and bolts I think they'd give you more flexibility than rivets. Zipties=Ghetto in my opinion.

But if the zip ties break while driving down the road, guess what happens to the lip...

And most of those lips would be cracked well before a collision broke the zip ties.

Just do what the rest of us do. Drive really carefully.

bolt/screw the lip on and add a rubber washer inbetween the lip and front valance and another rubber washer behind the front valance. So it's still secure but can move and flex if if scrapes on speedhumps and driveways. Much like this:
