I got a shout-out from Hooniverse!

Here's my original blog entry from July 09:

http://sixsylinder.blogspot.com/2009/07/loosen-up.html

I'm emailing back and forth with Takahirio from Youga Base and the I-5 cats trying to put together a follow-up article for Jalopnik (i.e. Murilee) and my own blog.

Takahirio (LOW blue-ish grey van w/wats) has TWELVE GRAND into his suspension. They take tracking these things very very seriously, they're fabbing their own CF parts, etc. I love it.

Saw this today. It has some huge sway bars and lots of other suspension mods on it. Perhaps the Dajiban fad is catching on stateside? :P

I know of a couple people who are looking into putting them together, but they almost certainly would be using real Wats.

I thought about doing one on DRW's, but it wouldn't be the same.

Thats pretty cool, I appreaciate how clean those vans are they dont look like a rapist ride of choice at all, but im puzzled by one thing. I thought wheel offset was big over there...the Wats just aren't cutting it in that department, although thumbs up to the orange one rockin' the Diamond Racing rims!!
