So, Toyota Racing has this contest going on... Design it. Enter it. Sponsafier.

Basically you go to their site and design a NASCAR Camry.

I'm not a NASCAR fan to begin with, but I am a Toyota fan, and just thought I'd try my hand at it. I did, and my entry was denied. Maybe I'm a bit to liberal? Not patriotic enough? What do you think? My design was a way of showing unity between Japan and America - combining both countries heritage into one car. There are a number of entries that show the Red, White & Blue, so that can't be the reason. Perhaps it is my choice of the Rising Sun, with rays, which is similar to the Japanese military flag?



Anyhow, I'm not saying my entry was good, or deserves to win anything, and I don't really care what happens in the long run, but I thought I'd toss this out here & see what the reaction, comments, and opinions on JNC were.

Personally I think the last thing Toyota wants to do is remind the hillbilly NASCAR faithful that they are a Japanese company.

Just write "GIT-R-DONE DALE EARNHARDT DIED FOR YOUR SINS THE SOUTH WILL RISE AGAIN" across the whole thing and photoshop an Alan Jackson record on the hood and you will win for sure.
