I love that generation of Camaro, especially in Z/28 trim. I'll venture to say that it looks even better than a Corvette of the same era (the Mustang was no contest!). It'll be a true 80s classic, mullet jokes be damned.

GM never built that. All five speed cars were 305s. If this one is, it has been changed at some point in its life. SOmething about the five speed that they had could not handle the added torque of the 350. However a 5-speed 305 matched an auto 350 in all the acceleration tests of the day.

This was the rundown I got from the guy, supposedly he's trying to find receipts. Thus far, I haven't poked around it much, but I can verify the heads/intake/carb are right.



I suppose I was just saying that it being a well-optioned 5-speed car seemed unusual compared to the endless sea of automatics you usually see.
