I come from the superb Classic Audi Forum.
Just sold my 94 Audi Coupe 2.6 V6.
Just bought my 92 Honda Leg End 3.2 V6

Is my car just a touch too new to be of any interest to anyone here?

Ivebeen brough up in a strong Datsun family,Mum has owned since 1974,a 120Y,160J SSS 79 plate,Stanzas,ahem,Bluebirds,and now 2 626's.

This is my first Jap since my Met Black Silvia S12 10 yrs back.Previous were a Bluebird ZXT and a Stanza 1.8 SGL,big mistake!!

Anyway,collecting her tomorrow so will upload pics unless theyre of a car faaaar too new!

I don't mind the car's modest age a bit.I like keeping an eye and a thought on potential future classics,and the Legend is surely a strong candidate.

Probably too new, but we would still love to see it.

Thanks for your replies firstly.

Secondly I now have the beast.The detailing starts tomorrow.Claying and strictly NO rotary polishing,and my new stock of 3M Fast Cut I would use on the rock hard Audi paint will now sit gathering dust.lol!

So,some water and a Megs Clay Bar used to do the shell,including headlights for that crystal clear new look.
The alloys are f***ered and need a refurb but Im already on the look out for a set of the later 5 spokes fitted to the KA7/8.

Thirdly,my Mum is very flattered and blushing like a true 75 yo lady might,heheee.Shes soooooo a "Tinness".Hey we could call her Baroness Tin.Shes gonna scan the photos of our turquoise 160J SSS,Orange 120Y and 240Z once shes dug them all out.

I will do before and after pics tomorrow.
The thing is.....is she Pin Yard Grey Metallic or Phantom Grey??and should it be Pineyard Grey anyhow???I looked on the colour chart here which shows,I think,every colour Honda have used...

Here she is!

Just a couple of tasters ...

Shes been washed with plenty of Poorboys Super Slick n Suds which is always excellent!
I then clayed her twice and washed and towelled again.





Will polish,pre-wax and give 2 coats of wax this weekend then post up more.

The interior is in really nice condition.Just the drivers seat bolster needs reconnolising.I'll do that,then clean and feed the rest,then post up pics of that too.

Oh,and Mums started digging out the old Datsun pics.Theres 1000s of photos in albums from the 70s to go through.Theyre in there somewhere!

The Legend looks mint. I've always liked them, very under-represented in Aus.

So funny to see these with Honda badges on the boot and grille. All ours came badged "Acura", not Honda.

I always thought, Mazda made the 626? LOL
