Didn't Isuzu make them for Opel? It's virtually the same car as the Gemini. :)

In my country, the Kadett were sold first, then replaced by Gemini. There are far more Gemini Coupe than Kadett Coupe but more Kadett sedan than Gemini sedan where quite a lot were used as taxis in diesel form.

It was a joint-venture with all the subsidaries in GM.

Opel Kadetts ran opel motors and were used for Europe. Isuzu took care of Aus, Japan and the US.

Same car different engine :D
