It has taken me so long to find a door. So don't ask.

In 2000 I bought an '86 Chevy Nova four door hatch back (re-badged Toyota Corolla) as a work car. My kids hated the thing. As they got older and started wanting cars of their own I would 'threaten' them with the Nova and they would always says, "No, dad! I'm not gonna drive that hunch back" !

I didn't. I posted a picture of one in the thread already. It's green.

Not exactly "hot" but Lexus showed the LF-Ch hatch at the Frankfurt Auto Show a few months ago and it's confirmed for production. It is seriously being considered for the US market as well. Small cars from premium brands haven't done very well in the US. The Audi A3, BMW 1-series and Volvo C30 aren't setting the sales charts ablaze. Only the MINI is doing well in this segment. These types of cars do much better in Europe, where European buyers accept the idea of small luxury cars. In America, we still equate luxury with size. The bigger it is, the more luxurious is must be. The smaller is it, the lest luxurious. But this could still be a good car for Lexus, especially is gas prices spiral out of control again.

As much as I like how this car looks, I think selling a hatchback in the US Lexus lineup would do more to damage the brand...

That is one wicked looking little Alfa. If you have more picks, feel free to post them up.

Yeah, it's a 1983 Alfasud Ti 'Quadrifoglio Verde' (green cloverleaf). Bought it when I was 16 as a complete rust heap and owned it until about 3 years ago... thought I had bitten off more than I could chew on several occasions with that car. Very very comprehensively modified at the end... had a 1.7 dropped in it from an Alfa 33, twin 40mm Dellortos, cams, adjustable suspension, new interior, nice audio setup... was a really good all round package.

More shots of it. And a video of a driveby, some years ago (sorry about the music, it's what was playing in the other car

My buddy has that Mazda 323 turbo AWD. As for America not getting the good stuff, well thats a topic that still angers me. If they stop having focus groups with soccer mom's and retards maybe they would see we don't want ANOTHER Fing crossover/SUV/bigger truck! *End Rant*

As far as hatches I kind of dig the Toyota FX-16 GTS, Geo Prism 5 door, and 1st gen Honda CRX
