 Post subject: Manila,Philippines Struck by Super Storm Ketsana (OndoY)

Last Sept 26, 2009 the Old schoolers Club had a scheduled club meet at Shaw Blvd. It was cancelled. Un fortunately it rained hard for more than 6 hours resulting to flooding the whole metropolis and nearby provinces.

Our family's store was also damaged. A friend of mine lost 2 cars, his house...everything. His family are all safe.

Lots of cars, properties, houses, livelihood, businesses damaged.... very sad moment. the last time it rained this hard was 42 years ago.

Nature really gone bad. Wrath of God? Maybe. Or is it Man's Abuse on Planet Earth? :( :cry:

I hope all goes well for you guys over there. That sounds pretty brutal!!! :cry:

On another note, I do not believe it has anything to do with Humankind's precense/abuse. Natural cycles have always run their course. I do not mean to insult anyone by posting this, just that as an environmentally-friendly lifestyle guy, sometimes this whole "green" thing gets out of focus.
