Since a lot of us are running older cars with cassette players, I thought it'd be fun to start a group to make & trade mixtapes with each other. You'd make a mixtape, send it to a friend, let them make a copy, and pass it on. Who's in?

This could work, if it isn't a nightmare to put the original Clarion back into my fb..

Basically, all you need to make mixtapes is a boombox with a cassette deck and a CD player, 2nd cassette deck, aux input, or all 3. Check Goodwill and thrift stores!

I like it, but I was going to put in a cd player. my car doesn't have a stereo at the moment, but I think it came with a tape deck. however, I do have various home tape decks laying around, I just wouldn't be able to enjoy the drive.

I took the tacky-flashing-blue-backlit Sony CD player out of my 911 in lieu of a vintage Kenwood and I AIN'T NEVER GOIN' BACK!
