what is needed to buy a canadian car and register it in the U.S..

What kind of car it is matters quite a bit.

Well, in regards to the legal route, here's all the import info:

This is specifically for Canadian vehicles import: http://www.nhtsa.gov/cars/rules/import/ ... 262010.pdf

It allows Canadian vehicles (which HAS to be CMVSS approved) under 25 years old to be imported provided you meet the requirements listed. Keep in mind, Canada can import vehicles 15 years or older that do not conform to CMVSS or our FMVSS requirements. Those vehicles ARE NOT covered under the Canadian vehicle import rules. Now, vehicles 25 years and older are under different, much more lenient rules. Regardless of being Canadian or not.

you cant find any one those in the US? or course i think the PNW is where most of the celicas seem to be

ke10s are extreamly hard to find here and the reason i want a canadian supra or celica is because of the digital dash.

ok. while i wasnt on the computer a member over on celica-gts forum did some quick searching and found that the digi dashes are mostly found north i.e; Canada or upper US
