I did not make new lines, but I blew them out with high pressure air. I dropped the tank and inspected it and cleaned it. It is in good shape.

Really great pictures at the end of that post, Bart. The styling of that car puts a lot of contemporary exotics to shame. She's beautiful. 8)

Thanks, man. Yes, it has a very, very 80s look to it, and a good look at that! It feels like Miami Vice every time I get into it!

If we ever get together we'll have to do a photoshoot with your Impulse and my 911. I'll let you borrow a two-button blazer and a pair of Wayfarers. Park 'em trunk to trunk; you see the money when I see the merchandise.

Yeah, pink Izod with a popped collar, some leather loafers with no socks, white pants...to bad I am too bald now to have a nice head of feathered hair...lol.

PS - My wife drives a 99 Carrera Cabriolet...I am more partial to the 928 body though... :)

I always love to see these cars in good shape. Glad that you are refreshing yours. Subscribed for more action! :P

LOL, me and my wife recently rewatched the whole series. Seasons 1,2 and 3 are absolutely phenomenal. Breakthrough 80s television.

You've got the check out "No Man's Land," a Charlie Sheen movie from 1987. Dick Wolf wrote the screenplay so it's like a 90 minute Miami Vice episode. Ron Howard was the director of photography. Basil Poledouris composed the score. Just an awesome movie all around. The plot was actually recycled for "The Fast & The Furious," but one notable exception is that all of the technical jargon in this movie is 100% accurate...kind of shocking. As a bonus, there's plenty of nostalgic J-tin in the background. It's one of my favorite movies of all time!

These cars were so ahead of their time when they came out, the only other car that could compare at the time is the SA22c/FB RX-7, at least in my opinion

Nice!!!! Yeah, mine is just shy of 70,000 now I think. I just don't really want to sell it....so that's where that number came from. I would probably think long and hard if someone offered me $8,000.
