Ok so there used to be a meet every year in the greater Seattle area on May 10th of every year.

The meets dwindled down to nothing and I made arrangements to have a meet again for the Seattle area.

Of course it is in May 10th and it will be at Rock N Roll burger in Issaquah, WA. It starts at 5:10pm and will go until everybody disperses. R&R burger closes at 8pm so if you want food....

The good part is that it is not limited to just the Datsun 510, It will be including any vintage import (pre 1985 of course)

The bad part is that May 10th is on a Monday :|

If you plan to go please just respond to this post so I can get a somewhat accurate number so the place is not super surprised.

Directions

Hope you guys can make it!

I'll be heading out probably a little bit late since I usually work until six but I might get off early if I can.

cool man. kinda hoping to revive the datsun 510 day meet. back about ten years ago we had a meet with just under 80 510's and then the meet suddenly ended. The guy hosting it just kinda quit. Then a few people tried to have a few here and there but lack of space and bad locations made the meet dwindle to nothing.

I used to have a shop bbq twice a year but my landlord made that impossible now.

I hope your advertising this meet other places too because so far it's not shaping up to be much.

Yeah i posted on 510realm but not much of a response there either.

I have been getting a better response from word of mouth than the internet.

it was also posted on the bluebirds mailing list so we shall see how it goes....Just with friends there is over 12 510's going as it is and a few ae86's just will have to wait and see.

No wonder! I dont own a 510, I was in the area, but thought it was strange to see three 510 in one day.

That is an FJ20E out of a DR30 Skyline usually only fuel injected but it has a rare HKS intake mani for dual Mikunis.

I built that car from ground up.

NICE! Ray, I didn't know you built that car. That is awesome, I may have possibly found a turbo that I could use but I'm still researching it's a garett GB22 off of a Z32 300zx twin turbo. According to G-pop shop "The A/R ratio is .54 or .63 on the turbine side depending on if it is from an auto or standard transmission." I am still trying to figure out if that is low enough for my little 1.2 liter to spool it up in a decent amount of time.

Wow, I think that is the first set of Sakuras I've seen in the states! You guys have some nice 510's up in the Northwest.

Thanks! Never seen the distributor on an FJ, and now that I see it's location I know why... :P
