hi all.
just wondering how many JNC'ers will be going.
i know the NDSOC will be in force, but who else?

i'll be there from thursday afternoon, with my Bellett GT and Wasp ute.
there's a group of 10-12 of us going with a range of old bangers (not many JNC with us tho, mainly Aussie and US stuff). will be a top weekend with the boys, all staying at my folks house down there.

for those that don't know, this event is the BIGGEST classic race meeting in the southern hemisphere, and they get over 40,000 people attending (the V8 stupidcars only get 19,000 at most.............), with the MotoGP being the only event there that pulls a larger crowd. the whole front straight area will be a car show on saturday, and a massive one for race day on sunday, that has a mind blogging range of cars, so that only is worth the drive and entry fee.
for around the $30 each day mark (don't quote me as that being the final figure!), u get full access to the entire spectator areas, as well as complete pit access! show me another huge race meeting that gives that. on top of that, there are cars there from all over the world, with owners and drivers bringing cars from around europe, the US and a fantastic group of formula 5000's from new zealand. i'm told there will be about 35 F5000's there in 2010, making it the most amount of them racing together in history!
simply, if u luv older cars, and watching them being driven as hard as possible, then this is 1 event u have to see.

come and say 'HI" if u see us there.
cheers.
brett.

I wouldn't say nobody else, you already included us so no point in replying.

A- you sold the AE71? You replacing it with anything or focusing on the project?

Ae71 was always meant to be a money maker, so after spending too much on it, it had to go! The money will go into turn my Charade Detomaso into a club racer so its a worthy sale!

Here are my photos from today.. JNC is hidden amongst everything else

http://www.bellett.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=707

if you go into the "my bellett" section on the bellett.net forum, u'll also see threads for my other cars (the wasp pictured above, my race car, my bellett bbq, my first car, etc). look for my user name "PR91" in the title.
