 Post subject: So.Cal/Torrance Monthly Meet! For Jan 8th, 2010!

Happy New Year Meet, Everyone! Actually this months meet will be pushed back a week due to the New Year Holiday! We will be meeting Friday January 8th!

I'd like to thank everyone for making the December meet who donated canned food and toys! Just remember: no good deed goes unseen in life!

Now to the meet details! You know the drill! First Friday of every month! So mark your 2010 calenders! This meet will be held on 1-8-10! Our previous meets have had great turn outs and we expect the same for this one! All Old School Japanese Cars are welcome to attend! Come out and support your local Classic Japanese car scene! Bring your Classic Datsun, Toyota, Mazda, etc! Come represent your favorite make and model! No attitudes, No revving/burn-outs/racing will be tolerated! Keep it cool or you will be asked to leave and banned from future meets! This is a family oriented event and we want to keep it that way!

So I had to do it, I finally created an account for this awesome site... I just moved to Torrance three weeks ago and finding this out is the best thing I could imagine, I feel like the kid at the ice-cream store. I may drive my car there If I find the little bug in it. help me in the cross finger...I also need a good reliable machine shop...

thank you for all the effort you guys put into the Old Skool... keep building and driving.

Welcome to the So. Bay! I got a reliable machine shop out here in the So. Bay. Velios in Redondo Beach on Manhatten Beach Blvd.
They have worked on both my H22's and I highly recommend them! When I find my phone, I'll post their #. :oops:

we were rolled by the poh-leeece on friday, pass it on to anybody you know, any forums you may see this linked to(i know hybridz had it, ratsun has it, and others) no burnouts, no excesive speed. anybody who has showed up can be witnesses to the fact that this thing has gotten pretty big! lets keep it alive and keep the MAN off our backs!
oh and congrats Ben on becoming an honorary devil ray!

I'll try to get pix up at the EOD today, Guys! Thanks to all who showed up! Sorry the cops broke it up... I believe everyone was on their best behavior as far as I could tell. So it just seems they were out to pick on us. This is exactly why we only have these meets once a month! Luckily this has only been the first time... hopefully it won't happen again too soon.

Do you guys have permission to have a meeting at that location?

If you don't, all it takes is one complaint from a customer of one of the businesses, or the businesses themselves and the cops will respond.

It doesn't matter if everyone is cool or not.
