For any Melbournites on the forums, TOCAU is having their national meet in Melbourne this weekend (Queens Birthday Long weekend)

There is a Show n Shine at Brighton Toyota from 11am on Saturday.

On Sunday there is a long long cruise (350km) starting at Toyota HQ in Port Melbourne at 9am, that will head out into the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges.

I am not an organiser but thought I might spread the word. I am going to check out the show n shine in my "new" ta22 I bought last weekend.

Show n Shine was a pretty good turn out! Modern machines were mostly order of the day, but there was enough old tin there to satisfy this enthusiast.

Highlights were:

Magic TE27 - was runner up in a number of categories including interior and members choice I think.

TE72 with a 3SGTE - was a Toyota exec car which had passed through a few hands.



KE30 with a 7K - won best engine bay





Corona RT112 - has featured in Australian Classic Car magazine recently and is a member here



I always liked the ST185 WRC car



Takumi was represented. Love the rear watanabes



And this was the first outing for "Mission Brown", my latest acquistion, but I left her out in the car park
