It's good to see this meet is still carrying on! I'll be returning from Florida shortly, unfortunately I have since parted ways with my hatch, but I do still have a Honda. A '79 CM400T to be exact. (motorcycle) Anyways look for my bike and me by around Sept. and keep motoring!

A few people did. I've been kinda hit-and-miss since not having a car to bring (I know, I know...).

I was going to make an excuse for not coming tonight, #4 rod "drumming" on the new oil pan, but I guess I'll trek on over after all. I guess it isn't all THAT hot out. Anyone else planning to come?

Registered to post, lol.

So what time does this thing start, and what's the address?

Edit: Not sure if the first post is kept up to date or what.

Well we had a small meet last night but it a pretty good. Here are the pics from last night.

Yes, I am still driving the truck. Dig my new 18's on the back. Yes I do have the ones for the front just no tires yet.

Image

Tim's Honda Cub.

Image

Yes you remember this. Tim White's Datsun 7.

Image

Well I guess this is only fitting I post this on 86 day. This car was beyond sweet. It had a Levin front end conversion and....

Image

It had a wicked Beams 3SGE with ITB's

Image

For all those people that thought Cody (Crash1976) didn't really have a first gen Celica. Well he finally showed up in it, and it's painted!

Image

Look, a real 18RG under the hood too!

I tuned on the Celica yesterday and it is amazing how well your engine runs when the Vac Advance is working properly

I don't know if you were there, but the quality level of the install on that is on par with the best I've seen. Most people would not know it was not put there from the factory.

See you all next month!

Gonna shoot for October, this time with suspension! Riding to Dallas and back riding on the bumpstops was not fun. The rainstorm on the way back made it even more fun. Crash, if I make it, you need to bring out your celica too. 2 months should give me enough time for the rest of the suspension work, carb work and a few other surprises I have brewing in my brain!

Are we meeting Sunday or putting it off a week due to Labor day?

I guess that would depend on how many who be interested in showing up this weekend?

On another note, I didn't realize it until now but last month was the 4th anniversary of our meet. :D :D :D
