Screw it. Both. Show up today. If you can't, show up next week.

But I'm gonna go through the calendar for the rest of the year and make sure there aren't any more holiday conflicts. :P

Well I only live 3 miles away so it isn't a big deal to me. Datsunfreak you may want to look around labor day and veterans day as those generally fall on the first ___day of the month. See ya next meet.

Yeah, Veteran's Day is probably not a big interference, but Labor is the first Monday in September so that may screw that meet up too... :P

Well I was there from 6:30 till about 8:30, Tim showed up with his "Renault", and then left.

Went inside Freebirds to eat and when I came out there were three more Toyota's that had shown up. A '76 Celica with 195,000 and another two I cant remember.

We all said that we would be back next week for the "Real" Meet.

Later

Well I wont be there, the Rolla decided it didnt need a working fuel pump anymore, so I get to have the fun of trying to either rebuild or replace the fuel pump. See ya next meet, if I get it working by then. Later

Sorry I couldn't make it, had to take care of a coupla sick kids. Looks like you guys had a good time. Hope to make it in August.

I got some flashbacks when I saw that Passport. A neighbor gave me a blue one when I was about 14 and myself and a friend mounted a milk crate (!) on the back and used to bombard the 'hood with waterballoons. We beat that thing to death while jumping it offroad, then bizarrely somebody stole it as my parents watched.

Ha! I'm glad my Passport brought back memories for you. The milk crate was one of the first additions I made to mine. I have definitely had some adventures with it. Sunk it up to the axles in mud in being stupid in a field and lost my shoes in the muck dragging it out. Hundred mile rides on beat up dirt roads in the middle of nowhere in Kansas. I got hit by a Lincoln Towncar on it. I commute everyday on it. It just runs and runs and runs. Hope you can make it to the next meet.
