well, it'll be nice to see the cressi again :tu: . not the next meet but the one after that I expect to have my suspension done (waiting on that tax money to come in on the 2nd)... getting replacement struts for 280zx and some " secret / special " springs for the rear  hehehehehe ..... and if there's any money left over I'll have me some z wheels....tomorrow I'm painting my grill / headlight housings though, that'll make a heck of a difference!

haha, I just got my tax money today unexpectedly, they always send mine earlier than the website says lol..... going to get my springs tomorrow, finding a place to order my z struts, and I gotta call this guy with the z wheels for sale, figured out my plug wires have 1982 date on them, so those are getting replaced, plugs as a given as well, found out I got a torn cv boot on the pass. rear that's getting replaced, and I'm overdue for an oil change, getting the works, coolant flush, trans flush, diff oil.... after all this, the only thing that's a must is my ball joints / control arms..... then I can start with the " little stuff " like the interior, oh god, the damn interior, F*CK.... lol WHEW!

DON"T FLUSH THE TRANS!!!!! It will just start more problems, I promise you that! every thing else sounds good tho. Are you getting drop springs or what? And which Z wheels? I wish my tax money would hurry up and get here .(rolls eyes) Cant wait to see the Max after the upgrades.

yeah, I've been told this before about a trans flush... IDK, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I take that back... I'll skip it this time

and my springs (uh hem) are gonna be of a special german creation that I must journey to ye ole' junkyard to find.. " junkyard special " hehehehehehahahahaha    :tu:

ok, I'll fill ya' in on em'

apparently, the mercedes 300d, years 76 - 85, have FRONT springs that will fit on the REAR of a 1st gen maxima / simialar Z car (cut down of course) imagen that! here's a pic of the maxima rear spring next to the 300d front spring. notice how much thicker the 300d spring is...
