This weekend is take 2 of Cars of The World, postponed from a weekend of flooding in November.
The irony is we are heading for 40deg - thats 104 in the other book.

So far there are 130 cars entered. a smattering of Mazda mx-5's, dattos, princes and R31 skylines are amongst them, with hopefully plenty more coming along on the day.

Where: Rochford Winery
Cost: $25 to enter - can do it on the day before 11:30am.
web: carsoftheworld.com.au

cheers,

OK so the event was today and hot doesn't begin to describe it. Numbers were down, but still several hundred attended.

Gavin has restored this roadster a couple years ago, and whilst big dollars were spent (I'm talking serious big dollars ) it means he has nothing to worry about - just gets in and drives. He did a bit of work on the engine, but it's almost a daily driver for him

Mark(phuc on the forums), recently bought this one. He has another currently in bits, but this one was too good to pass up. It's in superb condition.

Len's a club member, and has been around the traps for years- he used to be a factory Ford driver when they did the round Australia tests etc

We don't normally see many cars seriously slammed.

The MX-5 was a feature marque

Haven't seen this many Bellets in a long time. 1600GT took his gaggle.

This car won the Concourse and really nothing else was gonna come close. a 1912 Rolls Royce phantom. Whilst some trailered cars, he drove it in the 45odd km Cavalcade to the event in said 40 degrees.
Think about it- next year this car will be 100 years old.....

Apart from the 3 or 4 MR-2's, no toyotas, no hondas, no mitsu, and apart from the 25 MX-5's no Mazda. usually there's more than that there, and it's a great event- food for thought to those over here..............

True.... but only ID was Chrysler, and his little do not touch sign even said the same..... :| totally de-badged - shame really but each to their own!
