Hehe... i reckon i can tell you about it!
Noel is the owner of said car, and is affectionately known as the "godfather" of the prince skyline mafia.
It is believed this car is the only known Prince GT production car to be fitted with a full factory race kit. The car was bought by a Prince dealer in NZ with the factory race kit to run in the New Zealand Touring Car championship (might have been called production car or similar- can't remember that bit) and it was raced for a number of years, after each race going back into the showroom. Noel had always wanted the car, and Carlos (the then owner) moved to Australia and traded it. Noel couldn't afford it but did a deal with a mate who bought it: if he ever wanted to sell, Noel got first offer.
well, that happened in 2001 and the rest, as they say, is history.
He's only changed the exhaust and wheels. (and put a fresh harness in there)
I'm sure i got most of it right, but as they say, never let the truth stand in the way of a good story...
He also has a GT-A which he restored, and the pale yellow/cream Holden ute (FX or FJ) next to it is owned by one of the Prince guys.
The RACV rally has always had princes' attend. Shame there weren't more JNC's but it's primarily a vintage car event (which is awesome to wander through)
cheers,
