Sandown Historics 2010, Australia

A great event held by VHRR at Sandown Raceway in Victoria. I am there this weekend performing Recovery with my truck. But have managed to get a few photos 'in between' jobs!!!!

And I had to retrieve this one from turn 3........

There was also a Prince Skyline in some parade laps during lunchtime but there was another car that I had to take back to the pits so missed it on track - will try for it tomorrow. They also had three very nice Porsches from the Porsche museum as well.

You wouldn't read about it- I happened to get a couple of shots.....

Even the number plate matches......

Justin got pushed off in the first race on Sunday.

which led to this........ (that's Motiv8's truck)

and a roll of race tape and new lower control arm later.... he's back playing.

A few "other"s.....

Looks like it was a good day.

I'm going to the Trans-tasman revival at the end of the month. I'll try and get some pic's up of the event.

Nath it was great (they always are).

There's a meeting at Sandown, plus a huge dinner for cars clubs hosted by shannons on that night - with Sir Jack Brabham as guest.

Interestingly, i heard on the PA at Historic Sandown that he is also the patron of the event and they were saying he would be attending that as well....

sir jack was at sandown.
i saw him in the pits on saturday with geoff and matthew.
