Japanese Old School category was just added!

I was able to get some discount for all 85 and older vehicles and we'll have a special section reserved. 1st come first served, limited space.

Register now.
Use coupon code joji for $10.00 off, and will include 2 ticket to the show.

Regular admission is $20 (plus $2.50 handling fee) so you basically can get your car in the show for free if you were planning to attend with a buddy.

Come join JCCS and JNC to represent the Japanese old school!

I'm sticky-ing this post because it's important. Spocom is a highly influential show in the aftermarket scene and this is the first time they'll have an Old School Japanese category (normally it's only Ford, Chevy, Mopar).

The wonderful people behind JCCS and TORC, who have done so much for our hobby, are making a big push to fill up the show with as many nostalgics as possible, and we want to help!

We will be coming from downtown LA, so probably doesn't make sense to meet up before the show. Talk to Matt about the San Diego caravan.

Not sure. But, some of us might hit up the Miata show at Mazda R&D on Saturday. You are welcome to come. It's a very low-key thing, and Mazda isn't really promoting it a lot, but it should be fun.

you Socal guys weren't the first to show at SPOCOM... i think there were a few Norcal old schoolers that attended the one they had in San Mateo, CA.

the SPOCOM guys noticed the foot traffic by the old school cars and wanted to capitolize on it.

too bad we didn't have our own respective classes. they judged us along with the high end cars that showed.

some of us even took home some awards.

looks like the old school movement all over is gaining popularity... good thing or bad thing... who knows.

most old schoolers have been doing this way before there was even an import scene so i don't see it being a bad thing. :tu:
