Hi @ all,

my name is Roland, i´m from Germany and i´m happy, that i found an appropiate forum for old japanese cars. I need some help in specifiying some old chromeparts, that i bought with a big lot of Mercedes-parts. I found them on an old attic, where they have been for more than 20 years. I was offered them because i´m mercedes-nuts and there was a lot of tuning parts like AMG, Lorinser and more, all brand new from the 80ies.

Inbetween them i found those old japanese bumpers. Some of them are new and still original covered, some look very good, some habe a brand, but i cant find any type specifications. I tried to find some experts here in Europe, but there seem to be none :D

Would it be ok to post some pictures and messures here to find out, for what car they are? Your help would be very appreciated!

Greetz from sunny Germany

Roland

hi, yes be sure to post pics, and we can help identify the bumpers
if you wish to sell them on this forum, you'll need to post prices
also it's anticipated that you will ship internationally, and readers will start asking for shipping quotes

Hi

and thx for your welcome!

I will take some pics tomorrow and post them here.
If there ist some interest in these parts, i will be happy to help someone with it.
I can ship worldwide, so please ask for the options, if there is something you need.

On the other hand, would it be possiblbe to rate a value for the parts here? I´m
absolutly inexperienced in this thing, because there is no star on it ;)

Roland

As soon as we know what they are, yes it's very possible.

But if you got them cheap, why not pass on that good karma?

Who said, that i got them cheap? :x

I don´t want to get rich at one day, but a fair price would be good for both sides ;)

Therefore I rely here on a fair judgement of the members :)

Well, it's been my experience that people seldom buy things that they have no idea what they are unless the price is too cheap to pass up.

Those few bumpers may have been less than 1% of the whole bunch. I was interested in the new old stock Mercedes-Parts and never thought to find something like this. The next day they wanted to break down the building, so we had to hurry. There have been many chrome parts and i didn´t have the time to watch for single things.

The last weeks we sighted what we fetched there and found parts from different brands - even rear bumpers für Jaguar E-Type (they sold very quick :D)

And i think you know the prices for Mercedes-parts ;)

Wide 147 cm

It also may be an italian bumper, but thats not shure. The sticker says Unicar Torino, a big italian bumper manufacturer. The also work together with Tong Yang in Torino/Italy

Nice Honda Civic 1200 bumper! Years: 1973-1977. Price: between 50 and 75 euro is fair.

Cheers, Stephan
