I found these pictures I saved from an ebay auction several years ago and thought you all may enjoy them. The ultimate in first generation Accord luxury. I cannot remember what company did the limousine conversion. The burgundy crushed velour palace of an interior is amazing! Being a huge 1st generation Accord fan, I wish I could have bought this as I have never even seen pictures of another one.

 Wild. I hate to ask, but I wonder if there were any mechanical modifications to help cope with the extra weight?

As I remember it was still powered by the stock EK-1 with the the 3-speed automatic. I would imagine it would have had some kind of brake/spring upgrade.

The conversion was done very well. Even from the outside it looks like a much more expensive car. Thanks for posting!

I remember that car on eBay. The seller was asking $10,000.00 for it, but don't believe it sold at that time. Maybe it sold later? I wonder where it is today.

WOW! I Love the first generation Accord and limousines...this is a mixture of both...double great!

I't doesn't look like a Rolls Royce but I'm sure it's a strange and value car for any collection :D

Believe it or not, I have seen a DIFFERENT mid eighties Honda Accord Limo. There is one that I see every once in a while rolling around Chico, CA. It is a little rattier than this one but it looks to be fairly well put together. It even has some studded snow tires on it so it must not mind going uphill that much! I used to have some pictures of it but I can't find them at the moment.
