Also, it appears they have a Subaru set too, but I haven't seen it for sale here in the States (yet).

Saw this at a Toyota dealership recently. The guy wasn't there, so I don't have any more info about it...

I've got one of these...

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/toyotageek/3254985136/" title="IMG_8335 by toyotageek, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3452/3254985136_b7f2051100.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="IMG_8335"></a>

Toyota sent them out to car salesmen back in the early 90's. They came with a personalized name plate like the one in your photo. The one I have is minus a name plate because I removed it - the guy it was for had quit the dealership and I was the lucky guy that inherited it. :D

^ those are so awesome. I tried bidding on one on ebay several years ago, but when the price went about $150 I said screw it....

You could probably start a whole thread on these things. :)

I have one of those GTO's but it is missing a few parts I have completely stripped it to a bare metal shell.

Anyone else as excited about this new 1:18 as I am? Not cheap, but that's the state of diecast these days. Being from Kyosho, I'm sure it's nice. A must-have for me! Great that Kyosho and AUTOart are coming through with some of "our" cars.

Started life as one of the Jada S30 models, got turned into a robot as part of a customization contest at www.hybridz.org put on by the Jada employee after who's car it was modeled. The robo-chassis was hand fabricated and painted by me from metal drawer dividers "donated" by the parts department I worked in at the time. Came in fourth place out of four, guess they weren't ready for it...Ended up winning another Jada model, but I left that one alone for the moment.

I've also got some Choro-Q minis that a different member of Hybridz sourced for some of us while he was stationed in Japan.

Anyone else notice it's a LHD car with RHD wipers? Or that the box art is a '71 but the car itself a '69? No? Just me? That's what I thought...

:P
