Yup had the same experience at a local Toys R us a couple of weeks ago. A ton of Brats, no 510 wagons. Supposedly, some have been found at TJ Maxx and Marshalls.

I didn't know that TJ Maxx sold Hot Wheels. I'll have to check there one day

Has anyone else been watching ebay auctions for the BRE 510? Last couple sold for $82 and $64. And I thought $25 at a booth at the LA County Fair was ridiculous.

I wonder what is driving the prices so high; supply and demand doesn't seem to explain it...

I guess there isn't much chance of finding any leftovers @ $5 in the stores anymore... :(

Fellow JNC'ers, specially those living in Japan. Is this model still available?. I want one bad.

We had an RT100 when I was a kid, I was actually looking for one before I bought my RT130.

If its still available hopefully someone from Japan would be willing to help me in acquiring one.

Picked up 3 hot wheels 1990 civic hatch.
I had to go to 3 Walmarts and the last only had 4 left.

$1.00 each on sale. They are rare as people are scooping them up !
Mine doesnt say 'New for 2014' which is nice :)

I didn't have enough patience to go through each page in this thread, so I'm not sure if anyone else also has one of these, but I picked up this model when I was in Japan earlier this year. Found it at Yodobashi. Not sure how much I paid, but I remember it was fairly cheap considering a lot of models were, in my opinion, pretty expensive. I think I got a pretty good deal, especially for something so cool, haha.

Got a bunch of the red RX-7s. I haven't seen the silver FR-S, looks nice. The yellow GT won't be around here for another couple months(my wal marts are slow at putting out new hot wheels) I will have to keep my eye out for the Falken Supra, that one looks really nice. I really wish hot wheels would stick the Wats-esque rim on some of the mainline castings, getting sick of hunting out Blvds for decent rims!

Of course you realize that this is a Chevrolet Corvair Curbside pickup? Not a Japanese Nostalgic Car.
