Someone in Virginia has an Iron Mask Skyline?

I realize it's not impossible, nor is it the only one in the US, but still, neat. :tu:

I just wanted to show you the car RockAuto is helping to keep alive. It’s a 1983 Nissan Skyline RSX Turbo. I recently imported it from Japan as the car was never offered for sale here in the States. It has an FJ20 turbo engine that was also not available here. You can imagine what an issue getting parts for the car is. But RockAuto is great for cross referencing parts from other models, and being able to enter a part number for my car to see if it comes up linked to a common model in the States. My most recent purchase was a timing chain tensioner.

Thanks for helping to keep this old J-Tin running. RockAuto Rocks!

Thanks,
Chris in Virginia

Damn, a timing chain tensioner? I gave up on finding a genuine Nissan one for my KDR30 and just went for a common-as-sod $10 Mazda ratcheting one instead.

it actually works a heap better than the Nissan one, viz. no more chain rattle on startup! (Google it, etc)

Orion,

Rock Auto trimmed my email. What I purchased was a Mazda one for a US-spec 2.0 626. Works great. I wish the lower chain tensioner was as easy to get to.
