Something to do with emissions/pollution i'm guessing?

I'm ?

It was very hard to get it street legal. I told them that this car now must have the same emission than a "origin" YRV Turbo, so I changed the wireing tree, engine, gearbox, tires, exhaust and all related parts! So it is possible to made it street legal, and it is Street legal! :)

I'm, a contraction of "I am" as in, "I am guessing" . Is that what you meant?

The dirty rotten Datto wins everytime.........

My first car (which was a race car btw) was a 510... 2 door. Took one look and fell in love with roadsters (which I now have), the original sylvia and I have a yearning for a Prince Skyline. The fairlady and prince were at first purely from a physical point of view.

The 1600's are almost cult status - practically impossible to break them, and as someone else so wisely mentioned- you can almost swap/chuck/shoehorn just about anything into them...

Nissan. I'm not really sure why; perhaps because many of their cars truly represent the excesses of Japanese design in their particular eras.

My pick would have to be Honda or Nissan. I've had quite a few of both and really love my Z...it was way ahead of it's time with regards to it's design (and still looks current even today). Honda was always the forerunner on technology and was able to extract a lot of power with small engines. My main gripe with Honda is the fact they haven't offered any economical rwd cars. If only they would of have made a lightweight model like a CRX (dohc vtec, independent rear, short ratio gearbox, good seats, reliable..etc..)...but rear wheel drive, it might have changed the industry.

Difficult choice but has to be Datsun in the end for me.

I really like certain individual models from other makes such as the Bellett, RT40 Corona, Mazda 1500/1800 but for me the whole range of 60s and 70s Datsuns has an appeal mostly from the point of view of styling and of course they were the biggest sellers in the UK so I suppose are more familiar to me. I've had more Nissan products than other manufacturers so that probably makes me a bit more biassed too - I always go back to them.

I chose Toyota, though I own three Chryslers and a Chevy.

It was a hard choice between Toyota and Nissan/Datsun. I just kinda flipped a coin there.

I really just like a lot of the Toyota offerings pre '90s. And same for the Datsun/Nissans. I don't think you could go wrong either way.

I like a bit of everything, but in general, those two have the most offerings that really interest me. Though that isn't to say I don't like anything else, far from it. I've drooled over quite a few Suzukis/Hondas/Mazdas/Daihatsus/etc. I just like everything. :P Trying to pin me down to one manufacturer is impossible. 8)

Honda. Naturally aspirated music to the ears. Plus they seem to invent all the cool syuff 10 years before the rest..........VTEC, Hot hatch...(1st gen mugen civic), and you gotta love an engine that pulls 9000rpm stock (s2k). I am biased though..................

10 years before the rest? Oh yeah, Nissan used variable valve timing in 1987 300ZR (Z31 with VG30DE) before Honda unveiled the NSX in 1989.

I'm not trying to be offensive, but before you post something like that, try to find info that supports your statements. I really like older Hondas though (especially their rev-happiness :) )...
