I was just putzing around the internets, bored and looking for some cool J-tin when I followed a link from RetroSceneMag to a Riverside blog entry about Liberty Walk, a Japanese tuner house that builds mostly big-wheel bling bullshit but they also do shakotan and bosozoku style cars:

I especially love the last one, the Hako with the slanted headlights. If you go to the Riverside blog post, there are more photos, and much larger versions of the images I posted above.

I kinda like the purple Skyline, but I'd go back to the 4 headlights in the correct orientation. The single lights don't look like they belong.

They only "belong" on a bosozoku ride.

I believe that the nose is a G nose. Standard on JDM 240ZGs. The rest of the bodykit is most likely fabricated, most Bozo stuff is.

I've got a Boso question... why do they bend their rear license plates to make it look like it's flapping in the wind or whatever?

License plates are bent up (rear of vehicle) or pointed down (front of vehicle) to ensure cameras do not register data. Just about all roads, toll roads have cameras that are activated by decibel level, or speed sensors. This is a constant practice. Some specialty frames are available for a built in custom look, with different degrees of angle built in…..like a spoiler for license plates.
