Some of you guys know I write for a blog, very cool I think, however, we are starting a new series where we pick a random year and pick the coolest car for that year.

1982 was a tough year. But as the resident Asian Car Enthusiast I came through.

All that being said, I just wanted to invite you to check it out, throw a comment or two and vote for who you think the winner might be!

oh yeah, I did bump the good folks here at JNC too!!!!

Nice work! :tu:

You definitely made a more convincing (and funny) argument than Derek did.

thanks!

Look for more of these types soon from us. Our next year to argue is 1932...!

though it looks like I'm getting stomped in the voting right now!

As much as I would love to, I suck at pre-war cars. I especially suck at Asian pre-war cars. I picked the 1932 Chevy Confederate Roadster.

though, for all of you out there who might help, are there any good internet resources on pre-war Japanese cars? I'm struggling to find much and think it would be a hoot to write something on it in the future.

thanks to everyone who voted. A strange rash of last second votes and the fact it got picked up on the Starion forums meant I squeeked into a tie with literally about a minute to go before the poll closed.
